Furnace Brazing

Furnace brazing is a process by which metal components are bonded together using a separate filler metal. This is typically done in a vacuum furnace and referred to as vacuum brazing. The parts to be joined are cleaned, brazing filler metal is applied to the surfaces to be joined, and then the parts are placed into the furnace. The entire assembly is then heated to a brazing temperature and the braze filler metal melts and flows into the joints.
