Ellison Surface Technologies celebrates 20 years of service to our customers
Ellison Surface Technologies was founded in 1986 when Mike Ellison opened a thermal spray coatings facility in Hebron, KY. Since our humble beginnings, Ellison Surface Technologies has grown from $750,000 in sales and a handful of customers in 1986 to $18,000,000 in sales and over 200 customers today. The Hebron facility alone delivers over $ 10 million per year in production. We are working hard to match customer demand by adding 2 new booths at our Hebron facility. These booths will have hvof and plasma spray capability, and will increase our capacity by over 25%.
In 1997, EST took a bold step forward in the northeast – establishing a thermal spray coating facility in Rutland, Vermont. This facility has coated almost 12 million aerospace parts since opening doors and has achieved six sigma quality standards. Recently, we expanded our NE facility, adding over 10,000 sq feet of additional space and state-of-the art hvof and plasma spray systems. We look forward to providing a broader range of service to our customers in the NE.
EST continued to diversify and expand our business in 2001, when we acquired our facility in Tennessee. This facility applies a broad range of solution coatings including coatings on o-rings and gaskets and protective coatings on metal parts. This facility primarily services the elastomer and automotive industries.
Throughout our 20 years of service, EST has been and continues to be dedicated to its core values: integrity, quality, learning, stewardship, excellence, and respect. These values have served us well, and we will carry them into the future. Thank you for being an integral part of our success. We look forward to many more years helping you grow your businesses.
